These Terms of Service govern your use of app-venn's business banking platform and related services. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms in full.
By accessing or using app-venn's platform, services, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and app-venn Technologies Inc.
app-venn provides business banking and financial management software-as-a-service solutions exclusively for Canadian businesses. Our services include but are not limited to business accounts, payment processing, expense management, and financial analytics. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
To use app-venn, you must be a registered Canadian business entity (corporation, partnership, or sole proprietorship) in good standing, and you must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at [email protected].
Subscription fees are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD) on a monthly or annual basis as selected during sign-up. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, including GST/HST, which will be added where required by law. Failure to pay outstanding balances within 14 days of the due date may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable upon cancellation, but you will retain access until the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within 30 days of the original purchase date, at our discretion.
All content, software, trademarks, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property associated with app-venn are the exclusive property of app-venn Technologies Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform solely for your internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
You agree not to use app-venn for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or any activity that violates Canadian federal or provincial law. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with service availability, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
Your use of app-venn is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect, use, and disclose personal and business information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy.
app-venn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Financial data and analytics provided through app-venn are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, app-venn Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to app-venn in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to app-venn immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario. Each party irrevocably submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email to the address associated with your account or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of app-venn after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
